Archive for the archaeological watching brief, conducted during groundworks for an extension to 1 Church Lane Cottages, North Ormsby. Whilst no archaeological features or deposits were encountered, a redeposited sherd of late 13th to 14th century medieval pottery was recovered. A supplementary visit was made to inspect and photograph the nearby life-size classical statue known as the 'White Lady' at Abbey Farm Field.
