Abstract/Summary
Archive for a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording conducted on water mains replacement work prior to the construction of the Grantham Southern Relief Road. During the cutting of the new water main trench, a single ditch of probable Roman date was encountered. Finds recovered comprised two sherds of 2nd century AD pottery.
