Abstract/Summary
Report on a programme of archaeological monitoring conducted during the removal of rubble and stone from the collapsed church tower of the Grade II Listed St John's Church, High Toynton. The tower collapsed on 19th January 2020 after an earlier period of structural movement. The rubble and stone was cleared safely without further damage to the building and no other archaeological deposits or finds were encountered.
