Abstract/Summary
Archive for a historic building survey conducted on three outbuildings forming an agricultural complex at Coulson's Yard, Faldingworth Road, Spridlington, prior to their conversion for commercial use. The surveyed buildings formed a single storey range of coursed limestone and brick under pitched gabled roofs of pantile. The northern building contained the remains of animal stalls with brick rangers. The central building comprised two stores or tack rooms with probable 2- and 3-bay cart sheds between them. The southern building appears to have been at least partially rebuilt in brick with machine-sawn roof timbers, and its original use is unclear. The west, north and south elevations of the range are all blank, and all three buildings open to the former yard to the east.
