Archive for the excavation of eight trial trenches, dug to inform proposed residential development on land off Station Road, Waddington. The trenches were targeted to investigate a number of geophysical anomalies recorded by a prior magnetometry survey (see ELI14546), and confirmed a pattern of modern field drains identified as linear magnetic anomalies across all of the site. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered.
