Abstract/Summary
The archive for three archaeological trial trenches that were excavated on land behind the Old Post Office, Mar Dyke East, Saltfleetby, prior to a proposed construction of a new dwelling. Two sherd of medieval pottery were found in trench 2. A linear ditch, which has been identified as either a field boundary or drainage ditch, was revealed in trench 3, and containing an assemblage of 50 sherds of medieval pottery.
