Archive for the programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, conducted during the excavation of geotechnical test pits in the public car parking area at Belton House. None of the test pits extended beyond the former topsoil underneath the current car parking surface, and no archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered in any of the drilled boreholes.
