Archive for the excavation of two trial trenches, dug to inform proposed extensions to the Science Block at Stamford School, Brazenose Lane, Stamford. Late post-medieval dumped deposits were noted across the site, with a single modern pit in the eastern trench also identified, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered.
