Abstract/Summary

Archive for the programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, conducted during the excavation of two directional drilling pits, located on either side of the River Welland, to the south-east of Deeping St James. The pit on the northern bank of the river lay within Lincolnshire, whilst the pit on the southern bank lay within Peterborough District. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered in either pit.
