Abstract/Summary
Report on a fluxgate gradiometer survey conducted on land to the north of Church Lane, Holton le Clay, to inform proposed residential development on the site. The survey encountered two linear anomalies, one aligned northeast-southwest and the other northwest-southeast forming a right angle. These were interpreted as a possible airfield perimeter track for the former RAF Grimsby. A long north-south aligned former field boundary seen on historic mapping (also present in the Phase 1 survey, see ELI14105) was encountered at the eastern end of both survey areas. East-west aligned ridge and furrow was also noted in the northern survey area.
