Title Land at Crease Drove, Crowland: Report on an Archaeological Evaluation
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2017

Abstract/Summary

Archive for a programme of archaeological evaluation comprising ten trial trenches excavated on land at Crease Drove, Crowland, to inform the proposed residential development of the site. A possible ring ditch identified during prior geophysical survey (see ELI14092) was revealed to be an infilled natural hollow. Two ditches were also encountered, one of likely pre-Iron Age date and one Iron Age or later, as was a single undated pit. A number of modern and geological features were also noted.
