Archive for a programme of trial trenching consisting of seven trial trenches excavated to inform proposed residential development on land at the White Hart Public House, Church Road, Old Leake. A pair of parallel ditches dated to the Medieval period were encountered, along with a number of undated but likely post-Medieval drainage gullies and ditches.
