Abstract/Summary
Archive for a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording conducted during groundworks for a new residential development on land adjacent to No. 4 Holdingham, Sleaford. Three shallow undated pits and a large undated feature which may have been a pit, pond, or watercourse were recorded. Although this site is supposedly the location of the demolished Medieval chapel of St Mary, no evidence of the chapel was found, and no other archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered.
