Abstract/Summary
Archive for six trial trenches excavated to determine the archaeological potential of land at Queen Street, Spilsby, prior to any potential development. A concentration of 3rd to 4th century Roman features was revealed in the centre of the site, producing a small quantity of predominantly Greyware pottery. The presence of a post-Medieval boundary ditch and several late 19th-20th century waste pits previously identified by geophysical survey was also confirmed.
