Abstract/Summary

Archive for a historic building survey undertaken to inform proposed conversion to domestic use of a series of agricultural buildings with 19th century origins. The surveyed buildings comprised a mid 19th century threshing barn, shelter shed, and piggery, and a detached stables and cartshed dating to 1871. All of the buildings in the complex are brick built, and all except the stable are roofed with corrugated metal. The stable is roofed with red pantiles. The complex has undergone significant alteration in the 20th century to accommodate mechanisation, including the enclosure of the former crewyard.
