Archive for the excavation of three trial trenches, dug to inform proposed development work at St Lawrence School, Bowl Alley Lane, Horncastle. A small number of clearly natural features were identified during the investigation, along with the remains of a possible furrow. It was thought that the furrow may also have been of natural origin, however, given its irregular edges and the lack of other furrows on the site.
