Abstract/Summary
Archive for the excavation of two trial trenches, dug to inform the proposed erection of a detached office unit on land to the east of the A1133, Newton on Trent. The remains of four post holes, aligned on a roughly linear north to south axis, were the only features encountered. It was thought likely that the post holes represented part of a former fence boundary line, although no dating material was recovered, and their exact origin remains unknown.
