Archive for the programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, conducted during the replacement of a number of broken stone slabs in the area of the East Gate at Lincoln Castle. The groundworks did not extend beyond the existing 20th century layer of bedding material, and no archaeological deposits were impacted.
