Abstract/Summary
Archive for the programme of historic building recording, conducted to inform the proposed conversion to residential use of a former agricultural building at Yew Tree Farm, New Road, Quadring Eaudyke. The north range of the former barn and stables was built prior to 1776, and the west range was built prior to the 1880s. The buildings have undergone some alteration since their construction. A feature of note is the half timber door between the two ranges, which was graffitied by local youth in the early 20th century. The graffiti includes various names and initials, the inscription 'WAR Aug 1914', and images of several ploughs, a bicycle, and a horse.
