Archive for the excavation of four trial trenches, dug to inform proposed residential development on land at 9 Main Road, Toynton All Saints. A single east to west aligned linear feature was the only item of archaeological significance identified. This feature was thought to represent the remains of a former field boundary of probable medieval date, although no finds were recovered from its fill and its exact date remains unconfirmed.
