Report on a fluxgate gradiometer survey, conducted to inform proposed residential development on land off Stow Park Road, Marton. Strong magnetic anomalies, clearly associated with modern services and agricultural activity were recorded, along with traces of probable medieval ridge and furrow, and an area of probable quarrying of unknown date. {1} A heritage assessment of the proposed development site was completed prior to the commencement of the geophysical survey (see SLI15568).
