Archive for the programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, conducted during the excavation of geotechnical test pits at Bishopthorpe Farm, Tetney. Whilst no archaeological features or finds were encountered, a curving arc of higher natural ground was confirmed around the southern and western margins of the site, favourable for the salt-making activities known to have occurred in this area.
