Report on the excavation of a single trial trench and five test pits, dug to inform the proposed extension of existing car parking facilities at The Lawn, Union Road, Lincoln. Sequences of modern topsoil and dumped deposits were identified, along with a possible buried topsoil, but no archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered.
