Archive for the excavation of five trial trenches, dug to inform a proposed housing development on land at Tetney Golf Club, Station Road. The trenches were targeted to investigate a number of geophysical anomalies recorded by a prior magnetometry survey, thought to represent former industrial activity (see ELI12347). The evaluation resolved the geophysical anomalies as being modern disturbance, although a single undated linear feature of unknown origin was also identified.
