Report on a fluxgate gradiometer survey, conducted to inform proposed housing development on land at Tetney Golf Club. Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were noted across the site, along with a small number of strong magnetic anomalies, possibly representing the remains of pits or kilns of uncertain date. These features were thought to indicate the possible remains of former industrial activity in this area. {1} Subsequent trial trenching resolved all of the stronger magnetic responses as modern disturbance (see ELI12348).
