Archive for the watching brief, conducted during runway improvements to the main airfield runway at RAF Scampton. A deposit that possibly relates to the raised agger of Ermine Street was observed, along with evidence of more recent airfield activities. A single re-deposited Mesolithic flint was the only artefact recovered.
