Report for the excavation of 3 trial trenches, dug to inform a planning application for the construction of new housing at Sandilands, Fen Road, East Kirkby. Late medieval pottery fragments were recovered from a number of ditch and pit features, and the remains of a robbed wall footing was recorded, suggesting that medieval structures formerly fronted onto this part of Fen Road.
