Archive for the excavation of four trial trenches, dug to inform the proposed demolition and redevelopment of the Melbros Garage, at Surfleet Road, Pinchbeck. The investigation revealed natural clays overlain by silty clay subsoil, but no evidence of archaeologically significant activity. Two of the areas examined had been subject to oil contamination.
