Source/Archive record (Archive) SLI11896 - The Greyhound Inn, Folkingham

Title The Greyhound Inn, Folkingham
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2008

Abstract/Summary

Archive for the building survey, conducted prior to the renovation and conversion to residential use of the Greyhound Inn, Folkingham. The building is a former coaching inn dating from c.1650. Recording was hampered due to renovation having already commenced, resulting in difficult or unsafe access to some areas of the building. Also, the southern (front) elevation was obscured by scaffolding and waste skips, and the level of diesel fumes in the basement prevented anything more than a brief period of access.
