The letters are mainly between the City and County Museum and the British Museum, discussing the coins and also the Treasure Trove procedures; also letters to the finders of the coins and the coroner; other materials include several lists of the coins with dates, emperors, mints etc. as well as museum receipts, black and white photographs and a newspaper clipping
