Full Description

An undated feature was revealed in September 2012, during trial trenching at the former Wagon and Horses public house, 419 Newark Road, Lincoln. The feature appeared to be a west-north-west to east-south-east aligned ditch or elongated pit, though an alternative explanation as a former palaechannel could not be discounted. The feature was sealed by a buried topsoil, though no finds were recovered, and the feature remains undated. {1}{2}
