Full Description
A pit and probable ditch were found in this location in 2014, during the archaeological monitoring of the installation of a new vacuum sewer system at Greatford. No finds were recovered from either feature, and no date could be confirmed, although prehistoric or Roman dates were suggested, as both features were sealed by alluvium. The probable ditch was aligned on an east to west axis, though it could not be conclusively determined whether it was the result or human activity or was natural in origin. {1}{2}
