Full Description
A sherd of abraded medieval Toynton ware pottery was found in this area in May 2011, during systematic field walking along selected parts of the proposed Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. {1}{2}
Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were recorded in this area in June 2011, during magnetometry survey along selected parts of the proposed Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. The remains were identified as a series of parallel linear magnetic anomalies, aligned on a roughly north to south axis. {3}
