Full Description

A collection of 20 flints of late Mesolithic to early Bronze Age date were recovered in May 2011, during systematic field walking along selected parts of the proposed Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. The assemblage comprised nine flakes - two of which were retouched, six scrapers, three blades - one of which was retouched, the broad butt of a ground or polished axehead and an undiagnostic core fragment. {1}{2}
