Full Description

A late 17th century mud and stud cottage with an intact frame and a full hipped thatched roof. There is an interior bressumer beam inscribed 1690. {1} A mud and stud cottage on a brick plinth with a thatched roof covered in corrugated iron sheeting. The cottage dates to 1690 as it has a bressumer beam with a carved inscription "MA'L THE3 1690". There is an early 19th century addition and later alterations. The building is single storey with a brick chimney stack with owl-hole and ledge. The brick stack retains a 19th century oven with iron doors.
