A single piece of struck flint, the distal fragment of a blade, was recovered during a programme of archaeological fieldwork conducted at No. 7, The Wong, Horncastle. The techno-typological attributes of this artefact are indicative of a human presence during the Mesolithic or early Neolithic. {1}{2}
