Full Description

Skillington Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in 1847 at a cost of £643, with seats for 270. In 1905-6 it was extensively refurbished, with the schoolroom being converted into two vestries and a new schoolroom being built above them, as well as having new pews installed. It is of stone and has a hipped roof. It has long-and-short quoining and crenallations on the top of the porch. It has dentillated eaves and stone string courses. The round-headed window arches are of stone and the windows have stone jambs. {1}{2}{3}{4}
