Full Description

Wesley Chapel, Colsterworth, was built in 1835 on rented land. It cost £223. The land was purchased in 1905 for £10 and a schoolroom, designed by Bell, Withers and Meredith of London, was added in 1908 at a cost of £645. At the same time the chapel was extended to give it a capacity of 200. The building is of stone and has a gabled roof, although it has a newer frontage of red brick, probably added when the schoolroom was built. The window arches are segmental headed. It has been re-roofed. {1}{2}{3}
