Full Description

Willoughby's first Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in 1822 to seat 160. It closed in 1888 when it was replaced by a new chapel on Station Road (see PRN 48912). {1}{2}{3} A Wesleyan Methodist chapel is depicted in this location, on the 1st edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. This map was surveyed prior to the construction of the new Methodist chapel, though it is unclear exactly which structure is being referred to. {4}
