Full Description

The presence of a Congregational chapel in Welton-le-Marsh is attested in the 1851 census and White's guide. A chapel on Mill Lane is marked on the 1889 OS map, but its denomination is not given. As there is no evidence for any other chapels in Welton-le-Marsh it seems likely, though not certain, that these two chapels are one and the same. The building does not appear on the 1906 OS map and was probably demolished in the intervening period. {1}{2}{3}{4}
