Willoughby Primitive Methodist chapel was built in 1837 and closed prior to 1900. The building was converted into a house, named 'Zion Cottage', after its closure and has since been much altered with the addition of various new windows and door and two large dormers. The building is of brick with a gabled roof and dentillated eaves, though it has been rendered and it is difficult to ascertain the nature of the historic fabric. {1}{2}
