Full Description

The first Primitive Methodist chapel in Scrub Hill was built in 1839. It was rebuilt on the same site in 1857. The building is of red brick and has a gabled roof. There is very little decoration other than pilasters to the corners, a plinth and - on the gable - stone coping and a finial. There is a tablet on the gable: "Primitive Methodist Chapel, Rebuilt A.D. 1857". There is a modern extension to the south elevation. The chapel closed in 2004 and it is currently standing empty. {1}{2}{3}
