Full Description

Toynton All Saints Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in 1840, and rebuilt on the same site in 1860. In 1939 the chapel was extended to the south, reusing two original windows from the end wall. The chapel is of red brick and has a gabled roof. The windows are round-headed with rubbed yellow brick arches with decorative stone keystones and springers. It has pilasters and a plinth, as well as dentillated eaves. It is unknown when the chapel closed, but it is still marked on the 1970s OS maps. It subsequently became the village hall. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
