Full Description
White Pit Wesleyan Methodist chapel, near Swaby, was built in 1806. The building is of red brick and has a gabled roof. There is little decoration other than some corbelling that may be modern. There are numerous bricked-up window apetures. It is unknown when the chapel closed and was converted into a warehouse, but it was probably in 1839 when a new chapel (now demolished) was built. {1}{2}
