Full Description

Spilsby Independent Chapel, a Congregational chapel, was built in 1866, to a design by Kennedy and Dalglish of Glasgow, possibly replacing an earlier chapel of 1812. By 1889 it had been sold and was in use as a Masonic Hall. It is still labelled as a Masonic Hall on the 1950s OS map, but by the 1970s it had been converted into a garage. The building is now in use as a shop. The building is of yellow brick and has a gabled roof with an open pediment. It has round-headed window arches as well as decorative barge boards and corbelling on the gable. The main door has been removed and replaced with a large garage door. {1}{2}{3}{4}
