Full Description

Orby's second Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was opened in 1924 to seat 150. It replaced the older chapel (PRN 48861) situated further east down Marsh Road. The chapel closed in 1998 and was sold in 1999, when it was converted into a house, named 'The Old Chapel'. The building is of red brick and has a gabled roof. The windows are pointed arches and the main doorway is a four-centred arch. The windows to the frontage are dressed with stone (including hood mouldings and cills) and contain stained glass and tracery. The gable is raised and has stone coping and kneelers.
