Full Description
'The Old Chapel' on Commercial Road is a former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, built in 1925 with seats for 350 at a cost of £2,009. A schoolroom was opened in 1951. The chapel is of red brick and has a gabled roof. It has numerous dentil courses and a raised gable with stone coping. The windows are dressed with yellow brick to the sides. It also has an ocular window and a finial. The chapel closed in 1974, and was disused for many years before being used as workshop, and then being converted into a house. {1}{2}{3}
