Full Description
Bethel Primitive Methodist Chapel was built in 1836 to seat 190. The frontage was enlarged in 1899 and a Sunday school was added in 1901. The building is of red brick and has a gabled roof. It has multiple yellow brick string courses and a yellow brick dentil course under the eaves. Most of the windows and doorways are now bricked up. Frontage features a tablet and foundation stones. The chapel was closed in 1934 and the building sold in 1935. The building was subsequently converted for use as a joiners workshop. {1}{2}{3}
