A large number of curvilinear features are visible here as cropmarks and soilmarks on recent air photographs (viewed via Google Maps). Although undated, the cropmarks appear to comprise a number of possible trackways and enclosures, and may be related to other, nearby, Romano-British or medieval activity. {1}
