Full Description

This structure was included in the programme of building recording that was undertaken for the walled garden and associated structures in Willingham Woods, in January 2011, prior to their proposed restoration and development. It is brick-built with a roof of pantiles, and is thought to have functioned as a stable or pig sty, though is now quite ruinous. It would have been a component of the planned landscape around the former Willingham House, and likely dates to 1790, when extensive re-building works were conducted to the House. {1}{2}
